At 19, I graduated with a Bachelor of Design in Communication Design from Swinburne University of Technology. For 6 years afterwards, I worked in Sydney as a freelance graphic designer with many studios of varying sizes until 2011 when I won The Design NSW Travelling Scholarship.
I moved to The Netherlands, where I attended the Type and Media Masters held at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK). My graduation typeface, Blanco, won gold prize in the Morisawa Award (latin category) and 2nd prize in the People's Choice Award at The Morisawa Type Design Competition, A certificate of Excellence from the Type Directors Club of New York and was published in Communication Arts Typography Annual 2013.
I currently work as a freelance type designer, letterer and calligrapher for clients around the world and locally. If you have a project you think would benefit from custom typography, I'd love to hear from you.
